Join Mary Ann for a Teacup Nordic XC ski day. Season passes may be purchased online at Teacup Nordic or bring $20 cash for a day pass. Teacup Nordic offers over 20 kilometers of varied terrain. Their grooming schedule is Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday. We will be skiing the outer loop trails which includes a few "difficult" trails and some "more difficult" trails. The Teacup Nordic trail map is available online for review and download. We will meet in the Sandy at the Pioneer Parking Lot at 9:00 AM and caravan up to the mountain. The Pioneer Parking Lot is an untimed parking lot on Pioneer Boulevard between Scales Avenue and Bruns Avenue. It is located behind Otto's Ski Shop and Mt Shop and can be accessed at Bruns Avenue. Bring your lunch, water, Sno-Park permit, ski wax, 10 essentials, and mask. Prior to heading up to the mountain, check for any updated weather conditions. Carpooling may be available; in accordance with Club recommendations and Covid-19 protocols, carpoolers must wear a mask and provide vaccination status if asked. The Club recommends 10 cents per mile for carpoolers. Sandy to Teacup is approximately 80 miles round trip; the contribution to the driver is $8.
