7.7 miles, 1,800-foot elevation gain.
Table Rock is a 4,881ft remnant of the Old Cascades at the heart of the 6,028-acre Table Rock Wilderness. It is a moderately challenging (with a few highly challenging areas) hike involving crossing a boulder field right of the columnar basalt rock pinnacle, a talus slope, and some downed trees to navigate. Hopefully we will enjoy views of all the local mountains at the summit, where we will have lunch. The trail starts along the old road, with a detour through a conifer forest above the 1996 landslide, before proceeding to the original trailhead. We then hike steadily upwards. Good hiking boots and poles are recommended. Bring lunch, and lots of water.

The seven-mile gravel access road to the trailhead is free of potholes. There is also a vault toilet. Expect a long day, as it takes approx. 1hr 30 minutes to drive to the trailhead.
Drive: 1hr 20min each way. 45 miles to the trailhead.
