Spring Fruit Blossoms in Hood River- Day Trip. RSVP 3/15 April is blossom season for Hood River as over 15 million cherry, apple, and pear trees explode into pink and white! Let’s enjoy it! 4/14 walk 6.1 miles possible but I won’t be walking that far on the beautiful Tickle Creek Trail in Sandy, Oregon. Directions: Take hwy 26 east towards Sandy and be in outside lane so you can turn right at the traffic light onto 362nd. After the stop sign& as you go downhill about 1/2 block turn left on Dubarko. Between the 1st and 2nd homes on your right is the trail. Park in the neighborhood & meet between those first 2 homes. Dogs on leash as required by city. RSVP Jackie Bonillo 503-706-9668

Join us from 1 to 5 PM for some pinochle in a Club Room, 12101 NE 28th Vancouver. Locations may vary at times but will keep you informed. The cost is $2.00 per time (bring cash to the event) to pay for deposit for room, dishes, equipment, and other supplies. You may need to bring a folding chair if we have more than 6 registrants. A casual 2.8 mile nature walk through a beautiful forest right across the street from Nike World Headquarters. Some early wildflowers should be blooming and lighting up the woods ! The trail is natural, mostly flat, and easy. If there is enough interest , the group can go to lunch at nearby New Seasons in Beaverton after the walk. They have many lunch options to choose from in their deli, salad bar, hot food bar, pizza bar, etc. Meet at Tualatin Nature Park, Visitor Center, 15655 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton The walk will depart promptly at 10 AM. Walk the Cazadero Trail partly along Deep Creek in Boring Oregon. 10 am. Park behind the Shell gas station between hwy 212 & Richey road. Parking accessible from Richey Rd. Gas station address 27960 SE Hwy 212. Late April or early May is Trillium blooming time.
