Hike --Mt Talbert Nature Park - Clackamas area

MEET in Park parking lot off Mather road... Slip into Mount Talbert Nature Park to explore the four-mile trail network, check out the views (maybe get a peak of Mt Hood, and territorial view) however is mostly forested. Most hiking trails are single track and range in steepness, thus making this a moderate hike. You can easily shorten distance, by choosing shorter trails. Keep your eye out for deer, Western gray squirrels, pileated and hairy woodpeckers, white-breasted nuthatches and Western tanagers. Mount Talbert is the largest in a string of extinct volcanoes and lava domes that stretches across the east side of the region. Masks recommended when crossing paths with someone and not 6 FT apart.
