Events - Event View

This is the first 4 days and 3 nights ONLY of the combined Port Townsend and  North Cascades trip.  Limited to Fully Vaccinated Members.  E-mail proof of vaccination to Jean Yates. 

We will be staying in Port Townsend for 3 nights at the duplexes on Non-commissioned Officers Row at the Fort Worden Conference Center State Park or staying at the waterfront  Waterstreet Hotel built in 1889.  The activities here center around the historic parts of town.  There are great places to  kayak or you may hike at nearby Olympic National Park.  This is a town with lots of maritime activities such as watching boat building or taking a ferry for a day trip to Whidbey Island .  We have rented a building for our get-together dinner on the waterfront on our arrival Thursday night. Friday, we hope to take the ferry to Victoria for the day to visit the Butchart Gardens and the Royal British Columbia Museum.  Saturday, we will  do a walking tour of old homes on our way to the uptown Saturday Farmer's Market.  Many of you may want to explore Fort Worden either on foot or by bike. Sunday, you will be headed home or  continuing on for the North Cascades trip.
