Kayak - paddle on Lake Merwin, WA

This is a beautiful paddle on Lake Merwin, one of 3 reservoirs on the Lewis River towards Mount Adams in Washington.
Distance: 6 - 8 miles, dependent on group interest
Meet: 8:30am at the Arco Station on right immediately off of I-5 Exit 21, Woodland HWY 503 E (note it takes about an hour to get to this point of meeting please allow for it)
We will caravan for about 28 miles to the put in at the boat ramp on Cresap Bay, Lake Merwin.
From the put in we will paddle to the waterfalls and up Canyon Creek before stopping for lunch before we head back to the put in.
Bring lunch, plenty of water and sunscreen.
This is a level 2 paddle due to possible afternoon wind
Note: Must register for this paddle at the Bergfreunde web-site. Paddle could be cancelled due to weather, wind or too few participants.
