Eagle Creek to Punch Bowl Falls Hike
Start point: Eagle Creek Trailhead.
End point: Punch Bowl Falls, may go 2nd bridge, depending on group
Hike type: Out and back.
Distance: 4.2 miles (round trip), more if we go to 1st or 2nd bridge
Elevation gain: 525 feet.
High point: 505 feet.
Seasons: Year round.
Dog Friendly: Yes, on leash.
Bring 10 essentials, lots of water, snack or lite lunch, weather will be warm with heavy usage. Moderately strenuous hike.
We'll meet at 8AM at Lewis and Clark (see below address) and carpool to the Trailhead (address below). This is a NO fee parking area. Do not leave valuables in cars. Group may decide on refreshments post hike.
A valid Recreational Pass required for parking at Trailhead, or $5.00 DAY use pass can be purchased at fee station information board.
From Portland: Travel east on I-84 to exit #41 which is just past the interstate tunnel...get in the right lane before entering the tunnel. Take a right at the end of the off ramp and follow the signs to the picnic area and trailhead.
